Job Description:
The position we are recruiting for will be involved in the following activities:
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage doc.
Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
Analyze, Develop, document and maintain functional test cases .
Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
Location: Hyderabad
Required Skills:
2 – 3.5 years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (or comparable tool sets).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Must have excellent good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, a strong team player.
Strong communication skills (Verbal & written) and collaboration skills (communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders)
Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
Good knowledge on the SDLC,TEST life cycle & Defect life cycle
Creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness
Desired Skills (Nice to have in addition to the Required Skills):
Programming knowledge/Automation knowledge is an added advantage
Experience with SQL and databases are a plus.
Experiences in any Quality Management Software’s and Processes
Business process understanding
