Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, code and test cloud-based web applications in accordance to specifications
• Maintain existing applications and their respective roadmaps
• Provide 3rd level production support as needed during the week and on rotating weekends

• Follow the team-defined SDLC processes using HP Quality Center to track work items
• Help provide guidance on product migration and upgrade strategies
• Assist in cross-functional duties when required

Location: Bangalore

Experience/Qualifications:   

• 1-3 years of software development experience
• Sound problem resolution and communication skills
• Familiarity with secure web application development practices
• Ability to work effectively on a distributed team across multiple time zones
• Experience with a Software Development Life Cycle Methodology and information systems development
• Experience in the financial services domain, in particular in the Collections and Recovery space a plus

Technical Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in one or more multiple program languages – Java, C#, C++, Javascript , Python
• Experience with Database development – PL-SQL, T-SQL, MySQL
• Experience with JBoss and Apache configuration and setup
• Experience with both the Microsoft and Java stack a plus

Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
