Job Description:
Citrix is looking for highly talented and motivated Software Engineer to work on its server virtualization and cloud product line.
This role provides an opportunity to participate in the software testing process of a major, worldwide software company with both open- and closed-source projects at its core.
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 1-2 years
Responsibilities
As a test engineer you will
• work closely with cross functional teams in handling queries and escalations from Citrix partners and customers
• determine appropriate methodologies and procedures for new assignments and provide guidance to other development and test engineers.
• develop a good understanding of the XenServer and CloudPlatform product and be able to use this understanding to better the quality of testing and fault reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
• A degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 1-2 years of directly related work experience with strong knowledge in software testing
• Experience in one or more relevant programming languages (Python, C/C++, C#, Java, etc.)
• Knowledge and discipline in software engineering process and the development lifecycle
• Experience with software development estimation, engineering tools, and concepts.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills a must
